Sushma Verma selected in Indian Women’s Cricket team  

 

 

SUSHMA-VERMA-HimachalDharamshala (arvind Sharma ) 7th November, 2014

 

 Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association’s star player, Sushma Verma has been selected to play one test match against South Africa. The test match which is to be organised aat Gangotri Glades in Mysore from 16 to 19 November 2014 is a part of South African team’s India tour.

Sharing his delight on this occasion, Mr. Anurag Thakur, President, HPCA said, “This is a great news for all of us. Sushma has once again proved her mettle and has gained a spot in the Indian team. We believe that hard work and consistent efforts put in by our players and staff will take the game to new heights in the state.”

 

Sushma Verma is a right-hand batswoman and a wicket-keeper. 22 years old Sushma was Born  on November 3, 1992, in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, has played so far for  India Blue Women, India Women and Indian Board President’s Women XI.

She only played for India in only one T 20  v Bangladesh at Vadodra on April5, 2013
