Shahpur,10 Apr – The Management Society of School of Business and Management Studies, Central University of Himachal Pradesh is organizing a two days National Level Management Fest, ‘Him Spark’14’ on April 11 & 12. Vice Chancellor of Sri Sai University (Palampur) Prof. Dalram Dogra will be the chief guest for the function. Pro-Vice- Chancellor of CUHP Prof. Yoginder Singh Verma said that the main aim of this management fest is provide platform to the students to enhance their communication, decision making and managerial skills. Basically this fest will provide a chance to students to explore their hidden talent by communicating with the students of other educational institutes, he said. Prof. Verma said, these types of activities helps in enhancing the level of confidence in students and prepare them for future challenges which they have to face in their professional life. These types of co-curricular events help them to think creatively so that they can bring new and innovative ideas into fore, ultimately benefiting the whole society, he added. Convenor of the Him Spark’14, Dr. Bhawna Bhardwaj said in this event students of different universities and college from the region are participating. In this national level management fest, skills of students are tested in different event like business quiz, corporate walk, marketing madness, flip-flop, case study and on-line marketing, she said. Besides this, resume writing skills will be imparted to the students in this fest by the experts.
