Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who arrived on a two-day US tour, met with US President Donald Trump at the White House.
Both leaders make a joint statement in the Rose Garden of the White House. They talked of ending Islamic terrorism together. Trump termed India as a true friend and talked about the end of ‘Islamic terrorism’ with him. Also talk about making the largest military campaign in the Indian Ocean.
Modi said there was a perfect meeting of minds between the two as “the top priority for both President Trump and myself is to protect our society from global challenges like terrorism; and because our aim is the strengthening of India and the USA — two great democracies in the world.”
Trump said he always had a deep admiration for India and its people, and a “profound appreciation for your rich culture, heritage and traditions.”
