For a happy person the world is a place with plenty of opportunities. These days, there is a great interest among the scholars across the globe to conduct research on how to increase positive moods and to capitalize on mental strength to bring more meaning and satisfaction into our lives’ said Prof. Professor Y.S. Verma, Pro Vice-Chancellor of Central University of Himachal Pradesh while chairing the valedictory session of the two day workshop on Stress and Anger Management organized by the School of Business and Management Studies, Central University of Himachal Pradesh, which concluded today. While talking about Cognition and Health, Prof. Sagar Sharma, Professor Emirates and fellow National Academy of Psychology the chief resource person of the workshop said that Cognition is a process of thinking and mental representation of the world. For both rural and urban people, happiness is an inherent quality to live prosperously. Happiness is a way to express both physical and mental strength. Dr. Aditi Sharma, coordinator of the workshop while proposing the vote of thanks said that the workshop was a great learning experience for the participants as it has provided an opportunity to understand that being ordinary is also extra-ordinary and being connected with family and friends is important to manage stress.
