Dharamshala gets a package of 35 Crores for Development

The Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Raja Virbhadra Singh, yesterday, after dedicating the e-governance center to the people of Dharamshala and its surrounding areas, gifted a package of Rs 35 Crores for the various development projects in the region. On this occasion the Minister for Urban Development Minister & Housing,Town & Country Planning, who was present on the occasion, thereafter  launched,  inaugurated and dedicated most of these schemes to the people of Dharamshala and the surrounding areas. He laid the foundation stone for the Rs 30 Crore drinking water project for the local populace which will benefit over 60,000 strong population of Dharamshala and provide them with pure clean and healthy water for domestic consumption. He also launched the Sri Mata Chamunda Nandikeshwar website from the DC’s office. This website will provide all the historical data with regards to the Mata Chamunda Nandikeshwar Dham, it is also envisaged that very soon live Aarti from the temple will be available on this site. He also laid the foundation stone for the Mechanical circle building of the HPPWD to be constructed at a cost of Rs 1.20 Crores. The clock tower at the Tapovan T-junction at Sidhbari too was dedicated to the local populace, by him. He thereafter inaugurated the Himuda housing colony built at a cost of about 2 Crores, followed with Bhumipujan and unveiling of various other projects in the nearby areas.
