BCCI will strengthen anti corruption cell by inducting more officials : Anuraag

BCCI is happy that its tutorials to cricketers to avoid match-fixing elements and reporting them to it has worked as shown in the recent act. Talking on it Secretary BCCI Anuraag Thakur said,”We are now strengthening our anti corruption cell to discourage these anti game elements(match fixers ). Soon more officials shall be inducted in the cell.” He said that the newly elected body of the BCCI office bearers have worked smoothly in the first one month. “ We worked and discussed more on the uplift of Cricket in India,”said Thakur.
Recently Annuraag attended the ICC meeting to become the Yougest delegate of the meeting in Dubai. He said that the ICC is working on the area to make test cricket more interesting to attract large crowd in this form of the game . When asked about Test Cricket world cup and day and night tests he said that nothing fresh has been done on the subject.
Replying to a quarry at HPCA stadium Dharamsala on Thursday Anuraag said,” the Cricket lovers of the Himachal was denied the IPL matches yet another year due to anti sports activities of Himachal Government, whereas general public of the state pleads me to arrange for ILP matches and International matches at Dharamsala.” Anuraag said if Government of Himachal cooperate with HPCA , much more could be done in the area.
Anuraag said that he will not hesitate to challenge new sports bill in court , if it becomes a bill(which is against the freedom of sports bodies), so that sports in the state could freely flourish.
