Dharamshala /Shimla, – Reacting to the news reports of the State Vigilance Bureau submitted a fresh charge sheet for approval of the state government to prosecute,The hon Ex chief minister, Our president anurag Thakur mp from hamirpur, Other office bearers of the Association and others officers in the HPCA case, HPCA said that it will not to be cowed down by such witch-hunting being undertaken at the behest of the power that are controlling the government and have their primary agenda to implicate the association in false cases and inquiries as that has been happening for the last 1.5 years since the government has come . HPCA said the reported vigilance bureau move has deliberately been timed as a diversionary tactic from CBI probe on CM Virbhadra Singh is close to nail him and his family for the corruption cases during his tenure as union steel minister. When the matter is already sub-judice before Hon. Himachal Pradesh High Court, there is no basis for fresh charge sheet in the case. HPCA said it appeared that the chief minister could not digest the credit being given by the people of the state, the country and the entire world to HPCA headed by an member of parliament from the opposing party (BJP) for creating a masterpiece in the Dharamshala cricket stadium, which is contributing, and will continue to contribute tremendously to boosting the economy of the state through big cricketing events and general tourism. It is due to HPCA’s efforts that cricket infrastructure in state is state of art and with best modern facilties and players like Sushma Verma, prashant chopra ,ankush bains etc are playing in India’s national cricket teams and other young players are achieving new heights in cricket. HPCA said that, it is very sad that CM is spending large amount of public money in lawyers’ fees in a bid to take over HPCA and malign its reputation, rather he should have focused on spending this money energy and efforts on strengthening sports facilities and helping the youth of the state. We firmly stand behind our president in this hour of crisis and will not be cowed down by these suppressive moves of the government , we have witnessed the growth and development of the game of cricket in the state under the leadership of our president and we understand the insecurities that it is leading to amongst the political adversaries .
