Shimla MC Elections : 57.8 Percent Turnout

Shimla municipal election was concluded peacefully. In today’s election, Municipal Corporation Shimla got 57.8 percent turnout.

There are 91 thousand 327 voters in the city of Shimla. But only 57.8 percent of them today used their opinion. State Election Commission had created 153 polling booths in Shimla city for peaceful elections. Of these, 74 were general, 56 sensitive and 23 polling stations were of highly sensitive category. In election process 1500 employees and 400 police jawans were deployed. District Election Officer Rohan Chand said that peace has been voted peacefully.

On 17th June i.e.  Saturday, the fate of all the candidates will be decided.
