Manchester Terror Attack: 22 dead, 50 injured

Twenty-two people, including children, have been killed and 59 injured in a suicide attack at Manchester Arena as fans were leaving the arena shortly after a show by Ariana Grande finished.
A witness who attended the concert said she felt a huge blast as she was leaving the arena, followed by screaming and a rush by thousands of people trying to escape the building.
Britain’s prime minister, Theresa May, said: “We are working to establish the full details of what is being treated by the police as an appalling terrorist attack. All our thoughts are with the victims and the families of those who have been affected.”
According to the Independent , Greater Manchester Police chief constable Ian Hopkins, confirmed the attack was carried out by one man although detectives were still trying to establish if he “was acting alone or as part of a network”.
Manchester Arena, which opened in 1995, is one of the largest indoor venues in Europe. More than 1 million people fill its 21,000 seats every year. It is located near the Manchester Victoria transit station.
