Kangra Central co op Bank to open its 1st all women branch on 1st Jan 2015 at Dharamsala  ; Sapahiya

Kangra Central co operative Bank (KCCB) shall be the first in its sector in the state to open an all women branch. Describing this The Chairman of this leading national co operative bank KCCB ,  Mr.  Jagdish Sapehia  told PTI ,”As we  have the head quarters in Dharamsala, we shall open the first all  women branch here in Depot Bazar locality .This branch shall start functioning from 1st January 2015 . We have a plan to open five more such branches in five districts during next year.” He said that at the moment the bank has 197 branches and 12 extension counters of the bank in state. Sapehia said,  “ the KCCB is extending its ATM services to the customers of all the banks of India and abroad from 16th of this month”. For this service 3000 ATM cards have already been distributed.

 

Chairman informed that the KCCB bank came into existence on 17th March 1920 with its only branch at Dharamsala  and 2nd Branch of the Bank opened at Nurpur near Dharamsala in Jan’1956. Financial Position of KCCB  as on 31st March 2013 was
