Gadkari accuses the State Government of wrongful intent

While speaking at the Tridev Sammelan at the Dhaulpur grounds at Kullu, Nitin Gadkari accused the existing state government of exhibiting wrongful intent towards the  funds, as allotted, to the state of Himachal Pradesh for the various development projects in the state. He said that the central government had approved several developmental projects for the state including 61 National Highways and four four – lane projects, an amount of Rs 29 crores ahd been allocated for the preparation of the DPRs for this project but the state government failed to produce any DPRs for the same. He accused the CM of being busy with his court cases and ignoring the larger interests of the state in the bargain. An amount of Rs 150 crores had been approved for the establishment of a super specialty block at Shimla but the state government had failed to allot the desired land for the same, similarly a project for the establishment of a cancer facility at Mandi at a cost of Rs 45 crores had been approved by the centre which, too has met with the same fate. He said that over and above the projects mentioned Rs 1000 crores had been approved for setting up an AIIMS in Himachal along with the establishment of three medical colleges in the state which too have met the same fate. This indicates the intentions of the present government which is hindering the progress of the state.
