Anil Kumble, the chief coach of the Indian cricket team has quit the post, despite having been asked to continue for the Windies tour by the BCCI. The differences between Virat Kohli and Kumble are cited as the reason for the step taken by him. As per the former captain Sunil Gavaskar, in an interview to a channel, “This is a very sad incident, as Kumble was an excellent coach and a tough task master who, over the past one year has done wonders to the Indian team, but unfortunately, the team is looking for a softer person who will go along with their whims and fancies”. This incident has once again brought to the fore front the feud between the players and their coaches from time to time. This time it is because of the differences that had cropped up between Virat Kohli and Anil Kumble. The question now is who will be the next coach for team India. The names doing the rounds are Tom Moody ( Australia), Lal Chand Rajput (India), Richard Pybus (England), Dodda Ganesh (India), and Virender Sehwag (India).
